Northwestern mutual is reputable now

I've seen a lot of comments on here bashing northwestern mutual. Some of the criticisms in the past have been legitimate, but I truly believe we have done a 180 - for reference, I have been working at NWM for the past 14 years, spearheading the financial representative department operations in North America. We've been growing revenues upwards of 20% each year for the past 5 years. Emphasis on the 20% per year part. I’ve also been spearheading our new initiative “work from home” ever since covid-19 hit, we have transitioned to work from home. We also all received hand etched mugs from the HR department. People need to realize this firm has completely reinvented itself and deserves more respect than your laughable private equity job.

“Laughable PE job” huh

I'm not in PE, and IDK about you, but his post has me laughing. Does northwestern even sell investment products? they're not on any of our lists. IDK, I'll have to ask the team that pushes VA subaccounts.

The only difference between Asset Management and Investment Research is assets. I generally see somebody I know on TV on Bloomberg/CNBC etc. once or twice a week. This sounds cool, until I remind myself that I see somebody I know on ESPN five days a week.

"Now that I have your attention, let's talk about life insurance or disability coverage! Since I'm the head of the financial representative department, I'm not licensed to present these plans, but let me connect you with your local private wealth manager."

The poster formerly known as theAudiophile. Just turned up to 11, like the stereo.

Haha nice
