NYC Extends Eviction Moratorium to January - What are the implications

Hey guys so I've been seeing that the eviction moratorium has been extended to January and a couple of my conspiracy theory leaning friends are saying this is going to cause another real estate price crash at least in NY if not across the US.

I am not to informed on Real Estate and its dynamics so I was wondering what do you guys think will actually happen when this moratorium ends
