Making the move and transferring to NYU in the Fall 18’. People I’ve talked to have asked where I would live, to which I replied “who cares we'll figure it out”. Nonetheless, I guess I should begin to consider this problem. I am in the market for something around $800 a month including utilities, and someone who works in Finance or studies it. $800? Where are you looking? Brownsville? Tremont? Outer Staten Island? I hate to break it to you, but at that budget, NYU will either be hours away, you'll live in a neighborhood where you can't go out after dark, or both.
