I'm moving to Manhattan this summer and know that rents will increase in the summer months. Was wondering if anyone knew about how much they would increase by and what month this starts to take effect.
I won't actually move in until June, but I have the financial stability to grab a place in March/April/May if it is cost effective. I'm looking for 1/1 or studio duplex's in the UWS/UES and trying to keep it at/below $2600.
I figure that ~$200/month by signing in May breaks me even in a year, ~$400/month in April, etc...
Anyone have any rough idea?
