NYU Dorms: Broome St or Lafayette??
Hey everyone, I'll be interning at Goldman Sachs this summer and am trying to decide where I should live. A few weeks ago, I filled out the NYU application online and preferenced Broome St (still haven't received official dorm assignment though). Today I was looking through some of the orientation information that GS sent us and it said they had a block of 200 rooms available for interns. So my question is- would it be better to stay at Broome St this summer and be in Soho or would it be better to stay at Lafayette with other GS interns and be about 0.5 miles closer to work? Thoughts??
Also, I 'm a very social person and love going out so I'm leaning towards Broome St because of the better location. However, it's also farther from GS so that's definitely something to consider. Also, does anyone know if a lot of the GS interns actually stay in Lafayette or are they spread out among all of the NYU dorms or in other housing options??
Any information about Broome St or Lafayette Hall would be awesome! thanks!
