What Turley did not mention is the most significant issue which is how Trump profited from years of fraud.  I am curious to see how he posts a bond.  I highly doubt he is going to use his own money or assets.  My guess is that a foreign government will help him post a bond, which would make him a very compromised candidate for POTUS.

The funny part about all of this is Trump is getting a TON of press, which will likely drive more people to the polls on his side.

Hilarious that they made up a case about him overinflating the value of his properties for loans... but the banks he got the loans from said there was no problem, all the loans were paid, and everyone made money on the deals in question... so this DA decided to prosecute a case with no victim lol

The verdict also sets a precedent that has EVERYONE in the commercial real estate business in NYC freaking the fuck out because those are the same practices they all try and pull when building a new development. Even when they "win" these idiots still lose and make the city even worse. This case will be so tied up in appeals I doubt he even pays 1/5th the full amount, but even if he does they've done far more damage to their own city's image than they could hope to do to Trump + gave him tons of free press. Well done!
