Occupy This

So I worked my ass off to get into college, then into IB as a SA, then am recruiting for IB now (in the hopes of making it rain). In short, I want to be part of the 1%. And now some assholes want to make my dream career out to be some terrible, evil profession? Please.

I understand where these activists are coming from but I'm honestly a little bit fed up of punishing the successful people who have made a lot of dough. Thats the way our country works - you are free to pursue any amount of money. Nobody is stopping you.

So the idea that this whole system is unfair may hold true - but there is nothing getting in the way of anybody making a million dollars and becoming "part of the 1%". Stop whining.

Thats my Sunday evening rant. Have a good week everyone.

I want to kick something in the head VERY HARD. (super serious)

OP get a clue.

the OWS mob is not protesting the likes of you. they are protesting the boss of your boss of your boss ripping off pensioners and SWFs wholesale with their fraudulent structured finance, ripping off savers with their inflation-happy monetary cartel and literally brokering the sale of pieces of our country to foreigners.

If anybody from OWS is giving normal investment bankers shit for doing their job, then they're too much of a dumbass joke to take seriously. So I say: don't worry about it.

If your dreams don't scare you, then they are not big enough. "There are two types of people in this world: People who say they pee in the shower, and dirty fucking liars."-Louis C.K.
