Is this the MaCallan 50-year 1976? My dad has a case of it. He had one open and my uncle and I killed it when I got a new job a couple years ago. Guess what my first quarterly bonus went to. Worth it.

Ha I just looked up prices, no I don't think he would of paid anything close to what those bottles are going for now. Glad I don't drink anymore I can't afford it anymore jeeeezzeeee.
35 year. It was delicious, but I'm not sure my palate is advanced enough for me to distinguish between a 25/30 year old bottle that may cost ~$1,000 - 2,000 versus a 40-50 year old scotch that's gonna run more like 20x that. How much does the quality matter if the only difference you can taste is the price?
