One on One excel classes in NYC
I am looking for suggestions on classes that could be one on one to increase my excel knowledge. I can do vlook ups, hlook ups and some complex pivot but I want to be more confident in vba, macros in order to automate some work tasks. For background I work in back office operations where we have to do a lot of metrics, audit pulls and reconciliations but we do tedious system downloads into excel then do manual pivots. I am looking for classes where maybe it could be one on one in order for me to learn and apply it to my specific tasks. I have taken a few classes with different programs in the city that are all day but I found that I don't have time to ask the instructor to work with me on what I need to automate.
Getting the job is not about being an Excel monkey
Like I said my tasks are pretty tedious and redundant so I don't mind the challenge but modeling would really apply to me I feel as we use many platforms to reconcile and just need the data dumps from these extracts and automated metrics.
