Only thing worse than working in high finance...

...is trying to sell to high finance. Seriously.

Currently working for a SaaS startup and I'm tasked with New York / New Jersey which half the people I call into are hedge funds, private equity and even investment banks.

Hardest part is trying to find out who the DM is since most don't have a specific C-Level in charge of what we take care of. It's normally a Partner or Principal or even MD who has their fingers in it (especially at the boutique level where I call).

Half the time I get someone on the phone I just want to talk about the firm and markets, but nah, gotta sell sell sell.

Hard life.

what company?

Well I do like a bit of anonymity haha. Lets just say its one of the fastest growing startups, practically ever.
