Park City - Salt Lake City, UT

Headed out to PC next week for a long weekend. I live/work in NYC and have always skiied the east coast, pretty stoked to be heading out west for my first time with some buddies.

Really excited to hit the slopes and see what kind of nightlife park city has to offer. Anyone from the area have any recommendations?

Figured there might be a bunch of people on this site from GS ops or something.

I can't speak to the nightlife, but I've been to Utah twice for skiing. You're going to love it, so much better than the ice balls we have on the East Coast. I've been to Tahoe, Whistler, and Colorado. Utah is the best in terms of snow quality. It's a bit out of the way, but try to go to Alta for a powder day if you can. That mountain is the shit. They get 500 inches a year. Also, if you are a good skier and have the money it's worth it to go heli-skiing. Nothing else like it. Have fun.

haha Alta is the shit, but its more like 70-750 inches a year. Best mountain in the world day in day out, no bs.

General Utah, remember its mormon, but most restaurants serve alcohol. I usually go there just to ski, not party but im sure SLC and park city have some nice clubs.

Tl;dr Alta is the shit, ski a lot party in nyc.

Deer Valley is my fave Park City ski resort, it is worth checking out. If you want the luxury hotel/spa experience, they recently opened up a Waldorf in PC.
