Recently watched the NFLX news show "Patriot Act", gave some good insight into whats going on in China, with some political aspects and company aspects. I thought a good point was how the host talked about the censorship in China (and other countries) and what the citizens do to get around it. The contro l of the internet there is astounding.

I enjoy Patriot Act very much. Hasan Minhaj does a nice job in tackling some massive topics and scaling them down into something both digest-able and entertaining. His shows on the student loan market and on drug pricing were each equally unsettling and fascinating.
Trigger Warning with Killer Mike [from Run the Jewels] is another interesting series of informational shows with a certain amount of satire. Am really hoping they green-light it for another season. Killer Mike's style is way less fluffy than Hasan Minhaj's and the title "Trigger Warning" is apt AF. His segment on his attempt to only shop/buy in black-owned establishments was very prickly and discomfort-inducing, which is exactly the idea.

The Indian dude is obviously super Leftie, but I can actually tolerate and even enjoy his shit. I wanna see him and Adam Ruins Everything oil wrestle.
