"If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them." - Bruce Lee

Same. In my early 20's, when I was a leaner Drake-lookalike, I managed to pull a couple girls at bars/clubs, and going into my mid-20's I had some success a few times as well. But I've stopped going as much due to studies and work, so dating apps are what I've been using. Once you learn to use Bumble and Tinder, I think they're both well worth the time. You can easily arrange at least 1 date every week, or more if you have the time to burn.

Come on man. This stuff is out there. Basically, wear a suit, show photos of yourself doing extracurricular activities or sports, have facial hair unless you're looking for Asian chicks and you're not a white guy, and look clean and hygienic. "Keep it simple, stupid." Always worked, still does here, pays dividends. I have 2 pictures and a 1-line bio, and it's all that's needed.

it's preferable to go to her place. you can leave whenever and she might have xanax in the medicine cabinet you can take

Probably ~7, assuming you're talking about girls met that night.

Same day closes are risky business, I much prefer getting to know a girl through friends, hobbies, etc while sober or mostly sober then running into them in a bar.

  • You're not going to get as much drama
  • Depending on how it goes it can die quietly and non awkwardly as a one time thing, or if you both liked it it's easy to arrange more ...meetups later
  • You already have a feeling on where they lie on the crazy scale
  • With mutual friends, she's a lot less likely to blow up if things don't work out (keep that car un-keyed)
  • You don't have to put up with all the bullshit trying-to-prove-yourself conversation you would with a one night close
  • If you're not awkward and act a gentleman, word gets around with her other friends and you might be surprised who comes up to you all flirty at a bar next

Look, picking up girls isn't very easy or very hard. Having a couple of pick up lines always help to break the ice or ease the tension. My top 3 are:

  • There'll only be 8 planets left after I destroy Uranus (success rate: 95%)

  • Can you hold my drink while I go take a shit? (success rate: 90%)

  • You owe me a drink! You're so ugly I dropped mine when you looked at me (success rate 80%)
