While we are not the most holy country, you can find much more than 8 good people in just about any town or city in the U.S. Also, in Sodom and Gomorrah, the citizens literally wanted to sodomize the visiting angels. No one worth a damn ever gave a single fuck about another person's sexuality/relationship status in a professional setting. 99% of the time there's no reason to even bring it up. Anyone who feels like it's a remotely significant part of their identity that needs to be disclosed up front and talked about at work is a pitiable loser.
I am curious though. When older, established men are "poly" it tends to be some married rainmaker with mistresses, but his wife is not sleeping around. Whenever I see someone below the age of 35 who's "poly" they're usually just a cuckold with an SO who gets to fuck around on them and as a consolation prize can occasionally find himself getting some on the side with the blue-haired types (in many cases his SO is one of them, or at the very least a hardcore leftie). This was always my impression. It always seems like it happens AFTER the couple has been together for years. Where one person decides they're too bored within the constraints of monogamy and the other person is so in love they have to accept it.
