Welcome to the 305! The finance scene here is pretty bleak but its getting better by the day! Are you living in Brickell? A lot of finance professionals here live in Brickell/Downtown and people tend to go out in Wynwood/South Beach/Brickell and Edgewater. The design district/midtown are up-and-coming and boast a lot of nice stores/restaurants. Honestly people tend to avoid south beach given all the tourists, however the best clubs are over there (if you don't like EDM/house). Feel free to PM with questions!
No I actually chose to live by the edge of Miami Lakes since my office is relocating nearby. Coming out of the Northeast so I'm used to a shorter commute and COL was more affordable there. I'll probably relocate to downtown after a year or two. I'll def PM. Is there a whatsapp group for the Miami finance WSO folks?
