PowerPoint: How often is it used?

Investment Banking: Used ALL THE TIME Management Consulting: Used ALL THE TIME

How often does an entrepreneur use PowerPoint? I assume that it might be necessary when making presentations to VCs.

Is it correct to say that PowerPoint is the standard thing to use for presentations everywhere in the professional world? Just curious as to whether or not my PowerPoint skills are useful anywhere outside of IB.
