Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) sold three times as many Echo devices during today’s Prime Day event than last year’s entire event, according to Reuters.
The higher end Echo product had its price slashed in half to $89.99 and the lower cost Echo Dot also had a discount.
It seems Prime Day is slowly getting better but really the only good deals were on Amazon products, everything else had just been artificially marked up and then marked down to give the illusion of a “sale”. You guys pick anything up?
Most of the deals aren't even deals.

Amazon Prime Day is nearing and was just wondering what deals the WSO community is looking forward to. For those who do not know, Amazon Prime Day is Amazon's annual sale for Prime members that lasts for 30 hours (9pm June 10th - 3am June 12th). New deals come out every five minutes.
What do you guys plan to get out of this?
