Private Clubs for Young Professionals - London

Hi,

I am a young professional (think 25-30) working in London in an investment bank and I would like to join a private club / society for young professionals.

I am thinking about a club that would provide me the opportunity to network with other young professionals and even help improve the society through some charitable acts. I would even enjoy a talk or two about investments/finance once in a while.

I am thinking of something similar to: 'Gentlemen's Clubs in London' Wikipedia - search on Google . However, these clubs do not accept young members, especially those that do not have an invitation from another member within the club.

Can you guys recommend any private clubs in London that are worth attending?

The only clubs worth joining are primarily the Pall Mall and St James clubs. They do accept younger members, I joined two in my early 20s, but quite frankly if you don't know members already via school and uni it will be rather difficult for you. You could always try the Royal Overseas, it is a club technically, but is rather easy to get in to. Also if you do manage to get in, try to avoid business chat, it just isn't done for the most part.

Not sure if it's what you're looking for, but what about Home House or Annabels?

I'm talking about liquid. Rich enough to have your own jet. Rich enough not to waste time. Fifty, a hundred million dollars, buddy. A player. Or nothing. See my Blog & AMA
