Rain boots

As winter approaches and the east coast will inevitably get snowy, I was curious what everyone does in terms of footwear. Wear boots to the office and switch them for shoes when you get there? Galoshes? Any boot recommendations? Sorry if stupid question but I'm from the west coast where we don't get any snow.

In a former life, when I actually went to an office, would switch out when I got there. If it's deep winter type stuff - I actually have a pair of UGG winter boots that are quite nice. You won't go wrong with a pair of lined bean boots either or something.

There's also some hybrid types - Allen Edmonds has some that are dressier looking, but still warmly lined - those are good for when it's just freaking cold without snow.

Galoshes are good to have, just in case. I often find that when I need them I never actually have them on me.... but that's more a me problem.

I have these specifically. I have worn them in the rain and they are akin to my rain boots. They work well not in the rain also and I get compliments from random people when I wear them. They could go with jeans as well for date night or something. They are pretty comfortable. They could probably go for business casual / suit no tie look as well.

Its definitely a high quality product. I think the price is worth it at $275. Sizing was as expected.

I'm pretty obsessed with shoes. I have 4 live bids on sneakers at StockX right now. One for a pair of Nike AlphaFlys - damn I hope I get those. I like the black and green colors, but the bright mango seems $80 cheaper, so I'll settle.
