[Rant] CFAI Shot Themselves in the Foot with their New LES

I mentioned before that CFAI's Learning Ecosystem was one of the most intuitive solutions I had used and said that it in itself was very valuable as it was a repeatable solution that can be applied to any piece of content.

Well... they decided to sunset the old LES and replace it with something far worse not even giving a word of warning to candidates or the option to rotate between the two ecosystems. Its usability has been greatly degraded and will not be catching up to the previous state for ~1-2 years depending on their priorities. But man... to have a perfect solution and just shoot it behind a barn and rollout this slop ruining the experience of thousands of candidates who've paid top dollar is just an absymal approach to management.

And don't just take it from me, I was so confident I wasn't alone that I searched it and lo-and-behold there's an entire Reddit thread from 3 months ago that speaks to how much worse it's become from the previous state.

My grievances...
(1) No dashboard of total progress completion and percentage accuracy.
(2) No confidence level selection to see what was a lucky guess versus actual competence
(3) Worse usability of bookmark which is crucial if you have 900+ questions and need to go back to specific ones.
(4) The question output now highlights the wrong answer with TEXT instead of just a thorough and detailed description of the correct answer.

(5) I don't believe I can even go to in-lesson context as I had been able to before for specific sections.

Other smaller niceities are removed like selecting the Date of the exam to have a visual countdown and percentile ranking system.

All in all, if there was ever a pivotal moment as to what drove people away from CFAI's exams, this is it. Their LES was THE gold standard
