Rejected from all school clubs - Advice?

I go to a public school and all of the clubs here have so many rounds of case interviews and social events and unfortunately I was rejected from all of them. What should I do going forward? I'll definitely apply again next semester, but in terms of getting consulting experience, I'm not certain what I should do.

Same thing happened to me first semester. I reapplied everywhere in spring, got into two 10% acceptance rate clubs out of the like 5 or so I applied to. You gotta figure out what your weaknesses were.

Do you have any friends in them? Or even acquaintances? That helped me a lot. My experience:

- club 1: had two friends in it, they helped me prep for the interview and what they looked for even though they weren’t themselves involved in the process

- club 2: got rejected first semester, saw my interviewer around campus, went up to him and reexpressed interest, he gave me his email and gave me some stuff to read to prepare for next time

i also just did a ton of research on the clubs, and if they mentioned what they look for or any possible prep materials in their info sessions I went p hard on those

This always annoyed me about clubs on campus (esp at the target/ivy schools). It seems like people in leadership positions at clubs let the small amount of power go to their heads and not actually realise what clubs are about
