Got an email from a firm I interviewed with that they're gonna be checking references today and will be in touch. Had I not included references, would they have asked for them? My references won't say anything bad, but the less employers look into my past the better.
Also, I put company numbers instead of personal so that they hopefully get HR and a canned response. Is this smart?
