Ron Artest is back!

Yeah, you can't keep a low profile forever, Ron. Hiding behind a bullshit name like Metta World Peace isn't going to keep you in the good graces of NBA fans when you pull a stunt like this...

Great 2OT win for the Lakers, by the way. Too bad MWP had to go and ruin it with this garbage.

Mike Breen: ...or Metta World Peace I should say...a bit reminiscent of Ron Artest.

Classic.

...He didn't even look back to see who he hit. Disgraceful.

Artest is a scum bag. Railing someone in the face then saying you had no idea, what a joke. My boy Brian Scalabrine got more game then him.

They should just kick him out of the league. Delaying the inevitable at this point.

I tweeted this today. How can you make contact with someone like that and not even look to see who you hit. Unbelievable

The answer to your question is 1) network 2) get involved 3) beef up your resume 4) repeat -happypantsmcgee WSO is not your personal search function.

I dont think he meant to hit Harden in the head, so perhaps he didnt make much of it until Ibaka came at him. The intent with the elbow was clear but debatable where he wanted to hit him. Body hit most likely.

That said, real cheap shot. Wouldnt throw him out, as bringing in guns to locker rooms is up there too, but 10-15 games suspension easy. If LA get bounced out, probably his last game. (Lucky the Mavs, current 1st round opponents have no real perimeter threats, but I suppose he could have been used on Dirk).

JeffSkillingI really don't understand, if you walk by someone on the street and you just deck them, that's assault. How is this not assault?

HE TRIED TO PLAY IT OFF AS "WAVING HIS ARMS IN CELEBRATION" BUT IT WAS OBVIOUSLY AN EXTREMELY DIRTY PLAY. THAT IS WHY HE GOT EJECTED. IN MY OPINION HE SHOULD GET A SUSPENSION FOR 1-2 GAMES FOR THIS, NO CLASS AT ALL.

I HAD THE IMPRESSION THAT HE WAS JUST A CRACKPOT TROLL, BUT I GUESS I WAS WRONG.

Then you'd have to charge every hockey player that fights and every pitcher that brushes a guy off home plate. Players have been charged but its a slippery slope.
