Okay this one is a bit of a Hail Mary...
Looking for a roommate in Houston, likely in the downtown and surrounding area. High-rise luxury 2B units run about $1.8-2.2k/person which is around the budget, though it's slightly flexible.

FYI downtown Houston & Dallas are like ghost town after biz hours, unwalkable, and can be pretty sketchy.

Worst city ever when I visited my sister out there. Depressing and hot! Driving there is garbage too.

Would highly recommend looking at the heights instead of downtown, midtown is hit or miss if you’re wanting somewhere closer to downtown.
