Hey everyone, Just finished up my first semester of college and ended up with a 3.88 GPA, and wanted to ask, is rounding up to a 3.9 for my resume acceptable? Don't know anything about stuff like this, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Is 3.9 the nearest tenth? Yes
Therefore it must be acceptable to state that your GPA is 3.9.

Why not just leave it as 3.88?

I always round my GPA up, usually not a problem. But if you have a 3.88 a 3.9 won't make a difference.
