I think so. Kev is a great player. Russell has a ways to go but can become one once he learns to make better decisions and gets a handle on his jumper

tweet by bill simmons on april 26: sportsguy33 Bill Simmons If Westbrook keeps taking 30 shots in playoff games, we're headed for this.

Westbrook is great but it bugs me that he takes so many shots at the end of games. I haven't seen too many OKC games but it seems like every time that happens things go badly whereas Durant seems like he makes absolutely everything at ends of games..

I see it. If Kevin Durant was the weaker player of the two, and with his mentality, I think he would have moved aside to let Westbrook take over. But Westbrook doesnt have that mentality, which would have been great if he was No.1 but he isnt.

Having said that, there's no reason why Russell Westbrook cannot be the best PG in the league. He needs to finish better at the rim, make better decisions, lose the hero complex when shooting jumpers and put his head down to draw the foul.

I dont see the two still being together come a few years. Unless Westbrook has a change in philosophy. Question is, can he run a team? Currently no.

Derrick Rose and Chris Paul are 2 pretty good reasons why he won't be. Problem is neither OKC or Chicago will win the title -- both guys need to score to impact a game and their team to win. With shoot-first point guards I always think of it as a catch-22: the team would be better off if they just played at 2-guard, but if they played at 2-guard, they couldn't dominate the ball like they need to.

He's as quick as Rose, better rebounder at his position, and his a decent playmaker. Now, if he develops his shot, decision making and ability to finish at the rim, are you telling me he isnt one of the best or not the best in the league? A lot of ifs yes, but these were similar questions asked of Derrick Rose this time last year.

I thought this was going to be about Westbrook touching the ball and shooting it every time and KD telling him to chill the fuck out... guess I was wrong...

The answer to your question is 1) network 2) get involved 3) beef up your resume 4) repeat -happypantsmcgee WSO is not your personal search function.
