If your goal is IB...then do an IB internship your soph summer.
Best friend's dad is the CEO, just found out,
it seems as though the only IB internships available soph summer are boutique or w.e, just trying to weigh odds
Your friend's dad is the "CEO" of a "well known" consulting firm? Is he the top partner of a service line or something?
Anyway, if you want to do IB, do IB. You should probably figure out if you want to do IB or S&T though. Those are two totally different skillsets and lifestyles.
I'm not sure how to classify consulting firms, would we call them BB's? anyways, he's the head of a Consulting BB (I know that sounds stupid but you understand)
So you're saying that even the awesome name wouldn't look as good on a resume (for an SA) as some legit IB experience, however obscure the bank?
