Seamless meals paid for while WFH?

Some of my friends that interned in IB last summer said that they got to order $25 or $30 if they were going to be in the office until 8:00PM.

Now that everyone is working from home, do you still get to order food and charge it to the firm or client? That seems like a huge loss if analysts can no longer order from Seamless. Cooking dinner every night would suck if you have a lot of work to do!

Most EBs (PWP, Gug, PJT, Allen, Moco,CVW) still cover nightly meals up to firm limit with exception of EVR which is doing a $100 weekly grocery.

Only JPM is of the BBs is covering nightly meals (to my knowledge) but each meal needs an approval email by manager/staffer.

My bank gives me free $25 stipend when I'm in the office. I'm happy though I'm not allowed to go in the office...

Will update my computer soon and leave Incognito so I will disappear forever. How did I achieve Neanderthal by trolling? Some people are after me so need to close account for safety.

Actually my close friend working in corporate Tax Accounting told me something along those lines. It definitely has to do with that and also something about how in this scenario, firms legally can’t expense the meals to clients or something. I think the companies have to directly pay for the meals as an expense (which is why it would technically be considered additional income for us) vs making the clients pay for it
