SEO/MLT Killing Non Diverse Intern Chances?

Hot take, but I think programs like SEO and MLT kill off a large percentage of nondiverse applicants in the recruiting process and give any slightly motivated minority the ability to attain a top tier internship. This year's SEO and MLT class have nearly 800 interns at over 80 top tier companies. Obviously these programs are essential to diversify talent in various fields, but as they grow more and more every year, I think nonminorities will struggle to compete with people in these cohorts.

What are your opinions on this?

OP changed title from “Normal” to “Non-Diverse,” for the record and to avoid any confusion.

So you don't think nonminorities are going to struggle to compete with these cohorts?
