Should I first specialize or get an offer?
Which one should come first: Specializing in an area of finance and then applying to positions related to it or apply to whatever you can and then specialize in the position where you got accepted even if it isn't your area of interest?
On first I may prepare a lot and receive 0 offers meanwhile on the 2nd one I may not be in the area which interest me but get into a good job. So it's basically interest vs having a job.
What's your take?
Well, how would you become an expert if you don't have an offer?
theory
Along the lines of "should I get a loafer first or a Gucci loafer first".
