Should I get an airbnb/apartment for an upcoming virtual internship?

I have an upcoming ER internship at a bulge bracket for 8 weeks. Total compensation is ~17k for the program including sign-on.
I'm currently living with my parents and I have the upstairs bedroom with bath to myself. I'm thinking about moving out to be more focused during the program. Should I? Airbnb or 1 Month rent is about 2k in my area. I'm willing to move to a different city or state in the same time zone too.
