My dad has been buying me expensive gifts and has been asking me to sponsor him for a green card. But my mom and I know his background and his history (former gambler in his 20s)… therefore, it is risky to sponsor him given his gambling background. Although, he has changed for the better. But would I still be responsible for him financially if I find a job outside the U.S. and work outside the U.S.?
