Should I start smoking?

Looking for serious advice, ideally from older people.

Not to come off as narcissistic but I'm fit, good-looking, smart, go to a target, and have an excellent job lined up in IB/PE lined up after graduation. I say this because I've seriously been considering starting to smoke both for career and social reasons. Also read a study that men who smoked had significantly higher levels of testosterone compared to people who have never smoked.

Any advice on how to go about starting if I do?

This can't be a serious topic.  If this is a serious, you should getting a new group of friends.  Find some people who do not smoke and vape

Buddy is asking if he should smoke cigs then says "I'm still big against drugs so won't ever touch marijuana or any of that shit."   Yea I normally start my day with a joint then take some roxys at lunch time and then normally before bed take my Xanax thats actually just fentanyl. Yep marijuana is "drugs and that shit" but you should smoke cigs man

Albeit a dumb question, you should never start smoking or vaping if you never smoked in the first place. We have a whole generation of youth addicted to nicotine through vaping who never smoked cigarettes in the first place. Its one thing to rip a dart with your friends when your out drinking or what not, but smoking regularly or somewhat regularly is not something you want to do. You will ultimately hurt your lungs, dry your skin, and damper other parts of your health which are very crucial as you get older. IB/PE as an analyst will already take a huge toll on your body and health, and I reccomend you stay away from anything that will adversely affect your health.

So you're telling me I'm not gonna be able to get up, become a primal horndog, or procreate? I'm stayin away from the wacky tobaccy myself but that's just me

OP - weigh all the options, nothings off the table. Today I thought about starting to smoke cigs. I contemplated. Newports or American Spirits. The most beautiful thoughts are always beside the darkest

I started dipping because that is what everyone was doing on the high school football team, I smoked cigs at high school parties because that was what the cool kids were doing, I started juuling because my friends were doing it, to this day I'll never turn down a cig or two when out having drinks.  In other words, I've done and still do, exactly what you're asking if you should do, so this next part will sound very hypocritical but...

Asking randos if you should is lame.  You can't crowdsource every possible decision in your life.  Spontaneity is awesome.  Making bad decisions is part of life.  Winging it is fun.  Just do what you want man

You may need to change your definition of cool.

Also read a study that men who smoked had significantly higher levels of testosterone compared to people who have never smoked.

Testosterone tier list:

Tier 1: those who smoke

Tier 2: those who don't

Tier 3: those who quit

Tier 4: those who ask if they should
