What would i do if i woke up with the flu? I am a first year analyst at a BB and figure it would be difficult to take a day off at the last second but what if i’m too sick to work

Take care of yourself first. No one else at the bank will. You don’t owe them your life and well being.
Usually you work from home when sick
Everyone should take at least 1-2 days off every month
Let your team know you'll be WFH that day. You can tell your asos and maybe they'll help pick up some slack and not have you work a late night for a day
