anyone here look at marketwatch.com during the day? it's a decent site for news and market data, but if comments on it were a fair guide, I'd say this guy is the median user. there's a lot of populist rage out there that is compounded when the ragers, perhaps late to awareness of the market, try to get back at the world by buying leveraged-short ETFs at the market bottom. I hope no Timothy McVeighs come out of all of this. May they all get endorsement contracts with online gold stores, or perhaps jobs in electronics recycling.

I think that (day) traders need to get approval levels like options to trade the 3x (FAZ & FAS). Heard too many stories of dumb ass people trying to make a quick buck and losing it all, or not understanding the decay and holding on to them.

Im actually impressed he knows so much about the markets. In fact, I was surprised he put together some pretty logical arguements (even though I may not agree with them).

lol options on FAZ/FAS is totally overkill.

Haha..did NOT mean options ON them. You'd have a better chance at going to a casino and playing War to make money. I meant that since some brokers require "approval levels" to trade options, people should be required to know some common sense when trading the FAZ and FAS (the stocks, not options). Only option play on FAZ and FAS would be write calls or buy puts on both a couple months out at same strike price (when they were higher priced) and collect money on the decay

In poker we have a saying and i think it applys here as well. When there is a huge fish at the table (bad player) what you never do is alert the fish that you know they are horrible. The saying goes "please dont tap the fish tank"

I need bad traders in the market to help me pay my bills.

This is a fantastic way to get people to listen to your opinions during a time when everyone wants to have a voice. Break shit while you talk and people will listen. Amazing.

This reminded me of Jim Cramer uncensored or something. Instead of quirky buttons and props he uses electronic devices and hammers.
