Sleeping a lot these days

Pre corona blew up, I would often get 6-7 hours of sleep / day which I guess is Normal for 30 year old. I find myself sleeping a lot these days. We are talking somewhere between 10-11 hours every day. I’m not sure if it’s the anxiety (I’m currently unemployed and was about to close some processes which are now halted because of covid19) or the boredom (having nothing to do at home)...I read a lot of news and that stresses me out even more. Anyone else feeling the same way??

Honestly it's probably a bit of both between anxiety and boredom. Sleeping a lot can be a symptom of depression too.

I'd typically recommend you talk to a professional about all this, just to be sure, but since that is difficult at the moment, there are resources such as https://www.talkspace.com/ you can utilize.

In the meantime, sleeping a lot can also be good for you, so try to enjoy it while you can.

My circumstance is different but I have been sleeping more as well. My offer just got rescinded so I am just sleeping, working out and reading but honestly it feels horrible to not be on a schedule or in an environment that is conducive to learning. Hopefully this virus goes away soon because I am begging to feel depressed .
