Hey guys. I'm back from a week in Frankfurt. Had meetings all week but still managed to have a good time, though I probably spent a little too much time in O'reilly's Irish Pub. Anyway, I thought I'd kick this week off with an interesting offering that debuted at SXSW last year. It's called Something Ventured and it's a movie about the original venture capitalists who really shaped the way VC is done today. I know it's hard to imagine a world without computers (much less a world without Internet), but it wasn't that long ago and these were the guys who funded the revolution. Looks pretty interesting and and if anyone has seen it I'd love to hear if it was any good. Let me know what you think.
