Is big 10 an Index? @whatever1984 is the Index guy. May be he knows.
If I had to guess, I'd say that the 'big 10' is a reference to the mega cap companies that comprise like 25 to 30% of the S&P - Apple, MSFT, Amazon, etc. If that's the case, the answer is pretty self explanatory.
