Starting a portfolio (beginners)
Hello all, I am currently setting up a long term portfolio strategy. I am 23 and, after some thinking, I have decided to take action and start investing a part of my salary every month. My debate is: is there any good tool to track, organize and, indirectly, manage your portfolio? I have seen, for example, morningstar has a great tool in my point of view, from which one can learn a lot of stuff too. My aim is to follow an active management of my portfolio. Would like to get some opinions whether paying for a tool is a good idea or an excel sheet should be enough, if so, any feedback on good tools you use? Cheers,
Just get mid cap index funds, you'll do fine and it will take zero effort. Vanguard has the cheapest expenses and overall perform really well.
I trade for fun and have only beat the market less than half the time
