Provided the Steelers of the first half of the Jets game play both halves of the Superbowl, Steelers. I was surprised that they were completely shutdown by the Jet's defense in the second half. If Sanchez hadn't fumbled or they had scored on the 1 yard line, we might be talking about a different team going to the Superbowl.
Second half definitely wasn't pretty, but I will say that the Jets just played well and were rolling with some momentum- it was bound to happen.
Anyway, that Green Bay defense is not the Jets defense. I can only picture a game where the Packers are completely one dimensional and the Steelers get after Aaron Rodgers and force some turnovers. The guy has to win games by himself and that doesn't bode well for a guy looking over the line at James Harrison and Troy Polamalu.
Yea - the GB defense is better...
this is the same (probably better since Shields has really grown into a solid corner) defense that shut the Jets out during the regular season...
On top of that James Harrison is the scariest looking human I have ever seen.

The line just came out in Vegas its Green Bay -2.5 and the over/under at like 45 or something.
From my experience, high stakes games usually go against common consensus (ie. low scoring game vs. high scoring game). Although both teams have great defenses, they also have solid offenses with Green Bay's in particular. Also, the number of takeaways both teams have are tops in the NFL. GB has 24 INTs with 14 FFum converted to 4 defensive TDs. Pitt has 21 INTs with 20 FFum and 3 defensive TDs. With that being said, I think the defensive stoppage ability will be nullified by the number of turnovers, which I hope equates to a high scoring game with a large spread.
Of course, I could be wrong, but that's why they call it gambling.
