Sticky situation (Need advice)

Hi guys, I am currently a final year Management student studying at target-ish school think (Bristol, Warwick) and I was supposed to undertake an MSc in Finance at (LSE, ICBS, Warwick) this year, but I decided to defer my entry due to the uncertainty surrounding the economy and business environment which would most likely impact my ability to pay fees. My dream is to eventually be to work in IB (M&A) in London and this is my current profile:

  • Expected to graduate with a high 2:1
  • 3 Internships, totaling about 20 weeks at a Big 4, Regional IB (M&A), and boutique CF firm [All in my home country in Asia]
  • Volunteer experience in orphanages (not really relevant tho)

I was supposed to do a master's but because of the reasons above, I will most likely work at a big4 firm in a financial hub in Asia (HK, SG) in M&A/Valuations (Lucky enough to find a job tbh). Will working 1 year at a Big4 hinder my chances of getting an analyst role at a BB/EB/MM? Is a good MFin program enough for me to get a job in London, although I have no work experience in the UK?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Do you speak a european language other than english? This is one of the most important features. I also assume that you don’t have an european citizenship? This will make it even more difficult
