Yeah I get it I'm only an intern blah blah but what's wrong with what the OP is saying? People who are too obsessed with other people's validation & advice regarding their career path can't think for themselves...low self-awareness and low EQ only hurt your chances more in a field like finance.
It’s not like I go to this website for actual career advice. It can be a good place bounce ideas off several people at once, but ultimately I go to mentors or peers in my industry for real advice.
So if OP is saying “stop using WSO as your main source of info for career guidance”. I’d say he’s right. But most people aren’t using it that way.
WSO is a starting point for learning about new topics, and also a good place to discuss finance related topics. I think if you treat it that way you’re fine
