Supply chain management as a major?

Supply chain management is the oversight of materials, information, and finances as they flow within and among companies. While many business school students lean toward finance or accounting, supply chain management is slowly becoming up and coming in today's world. Is supply chain management a worthwhile major? What are the benefits of focusing on this slightly rare field?

Depends on what your end goal is. IF you are looking to get into IB, you may have a hard time proving the "Why IB" question.

You also will not have the same accounting understanding / financial basics down from coursework alone. So you would have to put in that additional effort to know your technicals.

Lots of good jobs in supply chain and is an extremely important part of any business.
