Susquehanna Poker Showdown Tournament
I played in the SIG Showdown Qualifier last night and ended up winning it lmao. Winners of each qualifier get flown out in April to play for $25k at their HQ. Anyone know anything about else about the event? Do they look to interview / hire from these type of things?
I usually play husng and I’m not sure how to play the sig tournament, do you have any good resources?
I play a lot of live (mostly 1/2 and tournaments), but best advice for online tournaments are to find freerolls or cheap entry turbo tournaments with larger player pools (100+) and practice early game strategy. once you get into lategame your husng skills will translate well
I started studying opening ranges, RFI and 3-bet ranges. Started with GTO poker and I noticed with husng I can deviate and punish them. Also when using gtopoker I noticed that as the game progresses I get better with my hands.
Was wondering if you had any resources? Getting really interested in it
Giving advice to play freerolls is wrong. Those tournaments are crap bingo poker. Instead, play free games on Full Tilt and Poker Stars and then graduate to micro stakes on ACR.
Didn't know they did this, that's pretty cool actually
Every interview I ever had there involved probability, options, or poker at some stage.
