As the 2012 is ending, I was looking back and thinking, is the USA by and large still the world leader, in general terms? Or is EU or Asia catching up in terms of technology, software, etc?
We still have Apple. Microsoft. Google (especially with autonomous car development, I would say Google is the leader).
But what else, really? Renewable energy, like solar and wind? medical? industrial?
Are we lagging behind or are we still ahead in most areas?
What exactly is NA leading in the world? What do you guys think?
