Tell me what tired feels like to you

For those of you who have kids or divorces, I probably shouldn’t be complaining. But in fairness those of you with kids and divorces can dump the crap that falls on you further downhill (on your juniors🫡)

But to me, tired isn’t the feeling you have late at night at your desk. That feeling of tired is usually temporary - it usually goes away with coffee, or by the next morning.

Tired is the feeling of driving home past 1 am and your eyes blurring up on the road so you can’t see it / you start nodding off and swerving. Tired is the feeling of consistently hitting the bed and falling asleep fully clothed with the lights on. Tired is getting 6 hours of sleep but still waking up the next morning physically exhausted and achy after a full night of sleep.

Would be great to know I’m not the only one if you could comment your non-child/marriage related tired stories below.

Sorry man- I have both kid and divorce. So I’m exhausted all the time. Yes I can “dump” on those below me but then I’m just tired from babysitting their work as well. Tired for me right now is working this week when I finally was supposed to be off- because shit doesn’t always roll downhill..

Like the unadjusted- only with a little bit extra.

How many years was it into your marriage until you thought about divorce?
