Ahhh, I don't know. The site ebbs and flows with admission cycles and stuff like that. There will always be some people who come here and screw around and others who see this as a way to make contacts in industry and learn a lot.
You get a lot more fresh/soph on this site that know nothing about banking (or social interaction, for that matter) in the fall, looking for info. Nothing against them, they keep the site going, but it would be nice if they did some research on this site.
And, of course, there will always be resident douches, trolls, idiots, etc

Back to the actual article, I only gave it a quick glance but he makes some valid points. However, I'm not sure of the whole premise of it. The way I see it, the roll of the dice and the "ruthless exploitation" of someone is a skill that the majority of people just do not possess. I dont think its completely left to chance. Those 1% have that skill. And they use it. I'm all for the protests and agree changes ought to be made but I am not going to select skills that are branded trivial and inconsequential to the success of someone.

I really enjoyed reading people's posts on here and I attempted to contribute and diversify with varying topics but was shit on constantly.
