The Good Drinker’s Club: Unknown brands and personal recommendations
Hey everybody
As I notice that everyone in this corner of the internet here really enjoys a really good whisky/beer/other drinks after work, I wanted to create this thread to keep alive any recommendations that you have encountered throughout your years. I will start with this wonderful Rye Whisky that a friend from mine got in the US. It will start being distributed next year and is a hidden gem. PD: Due to my friend’s request, I need to hide which bottle is this one.

White Claw Black Cherry is one of the most popular flavors in the hard seltzer lineup. The drink is known for its crisp, refreshing taste with a bold black cherry flavor that strikes a balance between sweetness and tartness. The carbonation gives it a light, effervescent feel, making it perfect for those who enjoy a drink that's flavorful but not overly sweet.
As for its prestige, White Claw has become somewhat of a cultural phenomenon, often associated with the rise of the hard seltzer trend in the U.S. It has a reputation for being a go-to choice for those seeking a lighter alcoholic beverage, especially in social settings like parties, beach outings, or casual gatherings. While it might not carry the same level of prestige as high-end wines or spirits, White Claw Black Cherry is celebrated for its simplicity, flavor, and widespread popularity.
I prefer drinking gasoline, but I respect your taste.
As crazy as it sounds, I like the smell of gasoline.

I know most of the audience here are US-based, so I'll share a couple of ideas from Europe which might go under the radar stateside (but apologies if they really are mainstream).
1) Lagavulin 16Y is my desert island whisky.
2) Feeling tired? Blue? Don't worry, I know how it is King / Queen. This is my lazy go-to cocktail. 1 part Disaronno, 1 part lemon juice. Mix them up and you're done. Some say add a little sugar or a little bitters if you think it needs it
