The smartest person in your life

Just wonder, and that is why asking. Who was/is the smartest person that you ever meet in your life? What is her/his strong sides and weaknesses? What are that person doing right now?

P.s.= Seeing Elon Musk from the TV, or life, anything like that doesn't count.

Honestly dont think Elon Musk is a genius. He's a smart guy no doubt but nowhere near what the average person gives him credit for. His best trait is that he hires really smart people...although treats them like crap.

Elon Musk: I'm going to make it so people never need to poop by installing a microchip in people's anus

World: What a freaken genius! How will you do this?

Elon Musk: We're still in proof of concept, I thought it up when I was high on LSD and taking a shit, but it exists in my mind already.

World: WOW, what a genius! Hes invented a chip that breaks down your poop.

Back to your original point, one of the smartest people I ever met was this VP who had a background in physics and was at a quant fund. Super sharp guy with a PHD in finance, CFA, and he was a special advisor to the Brookings Institute.

my friends works at SpaceX and he said elon is def intelligent and has a wide array of knowledge but his true skill is within identifying talent and creating teams that can execute and get results.

the answer to OPs questions would be the friend at SpaceX, dude skipped 8th grade, went to top best Aerospace school in country, interned at Blue Origin, SpaceX, and a defence contractor. both naturally gifted with superior work ethic plus isn't socially akward, so he's also fun to be around

myself, I am a genius, a creative genius, everyone else, all those other people, they can all fuck off, they can simply fuck off, fuck right off, that's what they should do, because me, me myself, I am a genius, the most genius person in my life, the only genius person in my life, in fact

#1) Dropped out of a top school. Founded a company that got into YC.

#2) Graduated from a flagship state school. Speaks 5-6 languages fluently. Currently working at an Aerospace startup.

#3) Graduated from a liberal arts state school. Went to the military for a year or two. Worked in the sports entertainment industry for 2-3 years doing consulting. Found his niche in consulting. Worked on a project with MBB. MBB gave him an offer after they worked on a deal together. Became partner at MBB 1-2 years after joining. He was a partner at MBB 5-6 years out of undergrad which was the youngest partner in the firm's history at that time. I won't mention his last 20 years to keep him anonymous.

#1 & #2 are two of my best friends.

#3 is a mentor.
