Even though a few people were frustrated seeing another height topic, most of the comments has some good insight. That made me think about other factors that might influence your dating success such as hair and physique (out of shape and/or overweight).
The weight loss (mostly exercise for guys) and hair remediation industries attract lots of consumer dollars, so some guys must care enough about these attributes to buy these products. The silver lining to being overweight and balding is you can fix them. It is not possible to fix your height.

I have a head full of hair, never needed propecia or minoxidil which many of my colleagues are taking.
However, I have spent a decent amount of money on weight loss and diet related products. supplements, etc.
Everyone has a sweet spot for weight when the face/neck, body looks the most attractive. It is useful to see how many girls give you a second look, talk to you, give you her number, etc.. it is not an exact science (also related to your age, setting, country, etc), but useful to know.
I would probably also take the hair stuff if I needed it. However, some guys shave it and feel very confident.
